CARE BY FABRIC

MAMBA COTTON

Wash cold on a gentle cycle. Turn inside out and avoid high heat to help preserve its stretch, softness and shape.

FINE RIB KNIT

Wash cold on a gentle cycle or hand wash when indicated. Reshape while damp and lay flat to dry. Store folded rather than hanging.

KNITWEAR

Follow the care label carefully. Hand wash in cold water or dry clean as directed. Do not wring. Reshape and lay flat to dry, then store folded.

VELVET

Follow the care label carefully. Turn inside out, avoid rubbing and wringing, and keep away from high heat to help protect the pile and finish.

BLENDED FABRICS

Care varies by fibre blend. Wash cold on a gentle cycle when permitted, avoid bleach and high heat, and always follow the garment’s care label.

WASH WITH CARE

Your Olivria pieces are designed for everyday ease, and a gentle wash helps them stay that way.

We recommend washing cold, at a maximum of 86°F / 30°C, on a gentle cycle or by hand when possible. Turn garments inside out before washing and wash with similar colours to help protect knit textures, contrast details, and surface finishes.

Use a mild detergent only. Avoid bleach, whitening agents, and fabric softener, which can affect softness, colour, and stretch over time. For coordinated sets, wash both pieces together whenever possible to help maintain a consistent colour and finish.

LESS WASHING, MORE WEARING

Not every wear needs a wash. Giving your pieces time to air between wears helps preserve their shape, texture, and natural softness.

For a simple refresh, hang your garment in a well-ventilated space and allow the fabric to rest naturally. Light creasing can often be released with gentle steam, provided this is permitted by the care label.

By washing only when needed, you help your favourite pieces stay comfortable, considered, and ready to wear for longer.

DRY & STORE THOUGHTFULLY

After washing, gently reshape your garment, paying attention to collars, cuffs, hems, and wide-leg proportions. Dry flat on a clean towel or drying rack, away from direct sunlight and strong heat.

Avoid tumble drying, wringing, or twisting, as heat and friction can affect the shape, stretch, and drape of knitwear. Once fully dry, fold knitwear rather than hanging it to help prevent stretching at the shoulders.

Store your pieces in a cool, dry place and avoid placing heavy items on top of delicate knits. A little care helps every detail—from ribbed texture to contrast trims—stay looking its best.

THE MORE YOU CARE, THE LONGER YOU WEAR.

Care recommendations may vary by style and fabric. Always refer to the care label inside your garment for the most accurate instructions.

FAQ

Find simple answers to caring for your Olivria pieces.

How should I wash my knitwear?

Wash knitwear in cold water on a gentle cycle or by hand when indicated on the care label. Avoid harsh detergents and excessive friction.

Why should knitwear be dried flat?

Drying flat helps preserve the original shape and prevents stretching, shoulder distortion and changes to the silhouette.

Can I hang my knitwear?

We recommend storing knitwear folded once completely dry. Hanging may stretch the shoulders and affect the shape over time.

Can I use a tumble dryer?

Avoid tumble drying unless the garment care label specifically allows it. Heat may cause shrinkage, distortion or loss of shape.

How should I care for velvet?

Follow the sewn-in care label. Avoid rubbing, wringing and high heat, as these may affect the velvet pile and soft finish.
